Tomás Santos Aviation Aviation training, safety and technical documentation

Aviation training, safety and technical documentation.

A professional aviation portfolio documenting my preparation for integrated ATPL(A) training, my study of aviation procedures, and my development through published writing, technical documentation and safety-focused analysis.

Purpose of this website

Tomás Santos Aviation is the place where I organize my aviation development, research and publications. The website documents my journey for formal flight training, my study of aviation procedures, and my published work as the portfolio grows.

The objective is to build a serious, verifiable and well-organized record of my development as an aviation student and later on as a professional in the market. This includes training preparation, safety-related writing, technical documentation and future aviation-related projects using various tools.

Current stage: this portfolio is being built before the start of formal integrated ATPL(A) training. The first article has been published, while additional reports, articles and projects will be added only when they are properly prepared and ready for publication.

Category: Pilot training / Aviation safety / Procedures

Format: PDF article

This article reflects on the habits a student can begin developing before formal flight training, including procedure discipline, reliable preparation, safety mindset and the responsible use of self-study tools.

Current focus

The portfolio is structured around three areas that I consider important for serious aviation development: training preparation, safety culture and technical documentation.

01

Training preparation

Building a disciplined foundation before integrated ATPL(A) training, with attention to aviation theory, procedures, planning and study habits.

02

Aviation safety

Developing interest in safety culture, human factors, communication, decision-making and the procedural discipline required in flight operations.

03

Technical work

Using technical tools and structured writing to produce clear notes, references, reports and future aviation-related analysis.

Long-term aviation development

My long-term goal is to develop as a professional pilot with strong procedural discipline and a serious safety mindset. I am especially interested in airline operations, pilot training, flight planning, instrument flying, human factors, CRM, aviation data analysis and the differences between EASA and FAA procedures.

This website will grow gradually, it will serve as a public record of progress, with each future article, report or project added when it meets a professional standard.
